Thread- Rite Screw
Products, Inc. will be upholding the standards for Restriction of Hazardous
Substances (RoHS) compliancy. In an effort to align our business practices,
and conforming to our customer demands. To meet our objective we will
need to have all items shipped as of September 1, 2006 created to, marked
and verified as meeting all RoHS compliance specifications as well as
properly identified and marked accompanying documentation. .
The RoHS, Restriction
of Hazardous Substances, initiative protects the environment from
end of life decay of certain elements contained within everyday products.
Some of the restricted materials include:
- Lead
(Pb)
- Mercury
(Hg)
- Hexavalent
Chromium (Cr VI)
- Cadmium
(Cd)
- Poly
Brominated flame retardants (PBB and PBDE)
 Standard
product for Thread-Rite Screw Products will be RoHS compliant material. Any
deviation from this will be documented on Request for quotes and or
Purchase orders.
Any
unauthorized products shipped to Thread-Rite Screw Products Inc, after
September 1, 2006 will be returned to the vendor/supplier at their
own expense.
