use in all manner of industrial equipment and in heavy-duty
electrical motor housings and cabinets, subject to demanding
weather and environmental conditions as in marine applications,
electrical pumps and medical equipment.
Made of
cast and machined nickel-plated brass, these fittings provide
exceptional corrosion resistance to any environmental exposure,
such as sub-zero or 100°+ temperature ranges, ice, snow,
acid rain, particulate or chemical pollution.

Description: Heyco Metal Cord Grips are “jewels”
of precision metal casting and finishing. Round tubular cord
holders are completely smooth on the inside, so electrical
cords and wires of any length insert easily without troublesome
binding or dangerous scraping of insulation. The outside surface
is fully threaded so that a companion liquid-tight locknut
affixed to one end tightens securely, to ensure a sealed connection
through an electrical housing or chassis. These fittings meet
new European Standard EN50262 version A. The sealing gland
is molded in durable Santoprene, protection class IP68.

Construction
& Finishes: Heyco Metal Cord Grips are cast of
solid brass, nickel-plated evenly inside and out with matching
metric or PG metal locknuts. PG nylon threaded plugs are also
available.
