Thread-Rite
provides a wide selection of high quality lanyards 3/64 to
1/8 cable diameter for light-duty retention. Lanyards are
typically used to attach pins, fasteners and other items to
prevent loss.
Standard
lanyards are made from 7 x 7 aircraft cable chosen for its
strength and flexibility. Stock sizes are available in galvanized
steel cable, bare or coated with polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
or nylon. PVC coating is the most popular for it's flexibility,
appearance, and low cost. Nylon is more durable and abrasion
resistant.
