Transparent Fastex Bumpers are nearly invisible when affixed to surfaces, allowing for more design flexibility and improved asthetics.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUES:

• To obtain maximum adhesion, surfaces must be uniform, clean and dry, as well as free of grease, wax, oil, dust and other foreign material which might affect adhesion.
• Clean surfaces with low strength solvents such as Isopropyl Alcohol (rubbing alcohol) or Heptane.
• Application Temperature Range: +50ºF (10ºC) to 100ºF (38ºC).
• When applying the Fastex Bumper to surfaces, it is important that a sufficient amount of pressure is applied to obtain optimum adhesion.
• Avoid contamination of adhesive with foreign material.
• Cure time (set up) of adhesive to mating surface is 24 hours minimum, reaches maximum strength after 168 hours.

STORAGE GUIDELINES:

• Temperature Range: +40ºF (4ºC) to 75ºF (24ºC).
• Humidity Range: 40 to 60% Relative Humidity.

SHELF LIFE:

• Adhesive properties should not change for one year if stored at recommended storage guidelines.

SERVICE TEMPERATURE:

• Temperature Range: -20ºF (29ºC) to 140ºF (60ºC).
• The adhesive will show reduced shear properties at elevated temperatures.

ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURE:

• Bumpers are intended for interior applications but may be used outdoors if the bumper is in a protected area. When exposed to UV light, high temperature/humidity and general outdoor conditions for extended periods, some slight discoloration or chalking may occur.
