Tap/R chip-free thread forming screw. Its full 360° thread

stripping torque. Small pilot point minimizes cross
threading and facilitates hole alignment.

FOR PLASTICS AND OTHER LOW DENSITY MATERIALS
Hi-Lo® Fasteners
- these fasteners have a double lead high and low thread
form that increases performance in a broad range of
low density materials such as plastic, wood masonite
and particle board. The high thread has a 30° included
angle that is sharper than a conventional thread. This
reduces splitting and boss breakage, provides better
drive/strip ratios and holds securely.

| Hi-Lo® Plus TM Fasteners
- Both the high and low threads on this screw incorporate
the 30º included angle with a 45º angle step
on the trailing flank of the threads. These sharp threads
displace minimal material to reduce stress and cracking
and further increase drive/strip ratios. Heads on Hi-Lo
Plus fasteners are to ASTM/ANSI standard dimensions. |

Plastite® Fasteners
- These trilobular thread rolling screws are designed
for high performance fastening in a wide range of thermoplastics.
As threads are formed, the plastic material recovers
and fills in around the trilobular threads, assuring
a secure assembly.
