Cyclone® Screws
- The serrated helical shoulder on this screw actually
draws metal up into the undercut head and bites into it,
dramatically increasing stripping torque and back-out resistance.

Cone® SEMS - This one-piece fastener spreads a load,
spans an oversize hole, absorbs driving torque and retains
tension. It is ideal for soft, fragile and low density
materials.

| GX® Self-extruding
screw - With its eccentric thread section, this screw extrudes
thin sheet metal upward and downward, significantly
increasing both the thread engagement area and torque absorption
capability. This also provides multiple thread engagement
for a positive ground. |
Terminal
SEMS - Shakeproof provides virtually any type or combination
of terminal washers, including UL recognized wire clamping
washers, preassembled to a wide range of screws - including
the chip-free thread forming screws - for electrical applications. |
| GER-NIB® Screws
- The Ger-Nib screw has unique protrusions on the undersurface
of the screw head that act as a torque brake, enabling the
screw to absorb high driving torques without stripping. This
torque-robbing feature can be incorporated in the Cyclone
and GX screws to further increase stripping torques. Ger-Nibs
can also provide an effective torque brake on Teks fasteners
and many other types of screws. |
SPAK TM Washer
SEMS - Shakeproof's unique Spak Washer adds the reactive
tension and torque absorption qualities of a wave or spring
washer to the sustained locking tension of the split lock
washer, increasing shock absorption and vibration resistant
characteristics. Ideal for confined space applications. |

Screws - A complete range of conventional tapping screws
for sheet metal (Type A, B, AB, C and C/A) is offered. Special
points and lead angles can be incorporated for lighter end
loads, hole finding ability, etc. |
STEMS TM Fasteners
- Designed for plastic-to-metal assembly applications. A
unique washer with a standoff column bears against the tapping
plate to protect bearing surfaces made of plastic, rubber
and other soft materials. |

TEKS® Self-drilling
fasteners - These unique Shakeproof-developed fasteners
drill their own perfectly sized holes in thin sheet, thick
metals and non-metallics, form close mating threads and
produce a complete fastening system in a single operation.
Both milled and forged point Teks are offered.

heading capabilities make it possible for Shakeproof to
produce custom extruded, uniquely formed, one-piece, low

fastens securely in sheet metal ranging from .015" to
