Plasti-Fast® high performance thread rolling screws are designed for secure and reliable fastening in thermoplastic materials. A 48º thread feature reduces displacement of plastic for less internal stress and less tendency to fracture bosses. Better drive/strip ratio and strip torque are obtained when compared with conventional Type B tapping screws. Extended lobes (clearly visible with 10 power magnification) and full 360º thread engagement provide low driving torque and better holding power.
Plasti-Kwick II® screws feature a double lead form and a unique high and low thread configuration. The high sharper 30º included angle thread provides more thread engagement and produces a wider margin between drive to strip ratios while the 60º included angle low thread stabilizes driving. This high and low thread combination yields low drive, in installation, and superior pull out results.
Swageform B® fasteners feature the same high performance characteristics associated with Swageform® screws in a spaced thread form which is particularly suitable for use in softer materials such as plastic and aluminum.
